Women Empowered by the Word has a large impact on my life! I am learning to live a life of excellence unto God.  I am able to trust others for spiritual and emotional support.  I am learning to be an intercessor as the muscle and tendons that holds each part of the body of Christ together. I’ve acquired a greater understanding of God’s Word and how to dig deeper than just on the surface.  I am able to receive the spiritual nutrition God’s Word holds for us. I understand that no matter how long I walk with God, there is no end to what He has to teach and reveal to us about Himself.

One of the things I have learned through God and Women Empowered by the Word Ministry is how to love.  Before I came to the fellowship, the only people I loved were my families and friends.  I would not even give anyone a hug.  But through God’s love and the women of Women Empowered by the Word, I have truly learned what love is.  Now I can hug and love without feeling out of place.  I am right where I belong.  Thank God for Women Empowered by the Word and our inspirational leader, Pastor Brenda Vega.

We are all different yet we are all the same.  Women Empowered by the Word has helped me to meet other women who care for the body of Christ.  We show forth our love for Christ by our love for each other.  We lift each other up in prayer and have fun together.  We establish lasting friendships with other women.  Women Empowered by the Word is a great place to start your new fellowship in the Lord!

I count it a blessing and an awesome privilege to be a member of Women Empowered by the Word Ministry (W.E.W).  I am very thankful to God for our leader, Pastor Brenda Vega and all of the women I have grown to love.

Before I joined W.E.W., I was not quite sure of my identity.  You know, I defined myself as a wife, friend, daughter, sister, etc.  One day, my husband walked out on me.  My world was turned upside down.  Life as I knew it was over, I thought.  I was devastated!  I did not know who I was anymore.  Shortly afterwards, a girlfriend invited me to a W.E.W. gathering.  I will always be grateful to God and my friend for inviting me.  Had it not been for W.E.W., I just don’t know how I would get through this storm.  I tried counseling and everything.  It was not until I became a part of the ministry that I began to see past my pain.  I felt an immediate connection with the women at W.E.W.  I continued to attend and looked forward in excitement and anticipation of what God was going to do regardless of my circumstance.  Needless to say, The Lord gave me a garment of praise for my heaviness.  The women of W.E.W loved me, prayed for me and with me and they shared their testimonies with me.  Their confidence and faith in God strengthened and encouraged me to continue trusting in the Lord.   The Lord healed my broken heart, restored my joy in Him and my marriage.

Today thanks to Pastor Brenda and the women at W.E.W, I now understand who I am in Christ, praise the Lord!  I know now that my life has purpose and that I have victory the circumstances of life.  I know this to be true without a shadow of doubt!  I am who I am today because of W.E.W.  My faith in God has increased, my prayer life has blossomed, I have grown in wisdom, knowledge and understanding; I am more loveable and forgiving now than ever before.  I display more of the fruits of the spirit now than ever before.  Although I may not be exactly where I want to be, I am thankful that I am not where I use to be in my walk with Christ.  In my experience, W.E.W is truly a unique ministry.  It is so amazing how real and transparent we can be with each other.  I feel totally connected to my sisters in Christ.  We love each other, we care about the community, we encourage and pray for each other, we laugh, we cry and we have a wonderful time learning how to apply God’s word in practical and real ways in our lives.  I would not trade this experience for any other.

If I have not learned anything else, I’ve learned to love, trust and let God be the head of my life.  Pastor Brenda being led by the Holy Spirit has taught us how to fight with the Word of God and that we can overcome any situation.  I have learned to pray about whatever situation or circumstance that I may face, instead of being led by my feelings.  Pastor Brenda does not have a selfish bone in her body.  She gives her time whenever she’s asked.  She is always there when we need her.  She is always willing to give an encouraging word and a hug.  Pastor Brenda is a true asset to the Kingdom of God.

As a young woman, attending Women Empowered by the Word has resulted in a stronger relationship with the Lord.  We have great fellowship with one another.  We learn how to become Godly women.  The great thing I enjoy about the ministry is the open discussions and real, engaging conversation that we have.  The things we talk about never leave the room.  We have great trust and respect for one another.  Sometimes we laugh, cry, play, pray, and sing praises onto the Most High God.  Overall I can truly say that I am blessed to be a part of a vision so special.

Women Empowered by the Word has made a huge impact in my life!  This ministry has become a driving force in my life to learn about God and His promises.  I have found my purpose and rightful place in the Kingdom of God.  It is through powerful techniques in which the Word of God is studied and how it is delivered that has kept me grounded in the Word.  I always wanted to know and to learn more about God.  However, I knew that I could not do it alone.

At Women Empowered by the Word Bible Study, there is such a break down in the study of the word that you cannot help but to say, “It is right here in the Bible!”  Yes you must see it and read it for yourself! I have learned that when everything is done in the right order,  sins are forgiven, chains are broken and lives are made whole again.  Healing takes place, some right before our very eyes and most importantly souls are saved.

At Women Empowered by the Word, “to change is to grow!”  It is a place of refuge, a place of retreat, a place of restoration and a place to learn.  I’ve learned what it means to usher into (invite and welcome) the presence of the Lord, who God is and why He died for me.  I also learned why it is important for us to study and know the word of God for ourselves.  I know now that the power of prayer can help me to change any situation in my everyday life experience.  I cannot wait for Thursdays to come around, and as that day of the week gets closer, I began to wonder,         “What is the Spirit of God going to do tonight?”  I often find myself asking God to please let me get off work on time.  Please allow my mind to be open to receive the Word and be in obedience to act on it.  I was invited to attend the Women Empowered by the Word, and so today to you, I extend the same gift.

I thank God that I am a member of Women Empowered by the Word.  I thank God for our leader, Pastor Brenda for allowing God to use her to minister to us and for having the mind of Christ.  Pastor Brenda is a reflection of God’s love here in the earth.  I thank you Pastor Brenda for letting your light shine so brightly!

Women Empowered by the Word has changed my life!  It’s caused me to be like Paul, to abase and to abound.  It has taught me to be content in every situation of my life.  I have learned that God is always on the throne and He knows exactly where I am at all times and His grace is sufficient for me.  The most incredible thing I have learned is that God will give me the desires of my heart when my heart is set on Him.

When I came to Women Empowered by the Word, I was secretly broken hearted and felt incomplete as a woman.  I was a 36 year woman with no children trying to mask my pain and disappointments.  I had done all that I could do and all that money could buy to no avail.  The more I tried, the bigger the gap in my heart became.  I found out that I was the reason there were no children in my home.  People told me to adopt or get foster children but I was never at peace with any of those options.  A friend invited me to the Women Empowered by the Word Bible Study.  I was looking for the “fix all” or something new, exciting and different.  I found it in every woman and our teacher, Pastor Brenda.  Pastor Brenda teaches God’s Word with such clarify and understanding.  Pastor Brenda is a gift to the Body of Christ!

I learned how to pray, praise, then to enter into the presence of the Lord.  I learned to forgive and to ask for forgiveness and to love again.  I laid my pain down at Jesus’ feet and began to want more of Him in my life.  Low and behold He began to meet the desires of my heart.  God healed my heart and brought many children into my life from new born to young first time mothers!

I am excited about every new lesson that we receive through the teaching of Pastor Brenda Vega.  I expect God, through His Holy Spirit to create great and mighty things in each of our lives!  As we yield, our marriages are made whole; our bodies are healed and we are free from all emotional pain.  We walk in the precepts and promises of God.  Our old baggage is either thrown away or unpacked and Jesus Christ is allowed to take His rightful place in our lives.  He dwells upon the throne room of our hearts.  We are so privileged to have been directed to this powerful women’s ministry where we are made whole through the love of Christ.

Mother of many, no longer barren!
